When I'm not slaying away at Starbucks crafting lattes to perfection, you can find me either out taking a hike or volunteering throughout my community. It was through a student-led service organization where I discovered what I wanted to do for the rest of my life: serve and advocate for the millions who lack the basic necessities needed to live a healthy and safe life.
I hope to someday travel to the most unreachable corners of the world as a Public Health professional, teaching underdeveloped demographics not only the life-saving power of basic health care but the life-saving power of the gospel. I cannot wait to begin serving God beyond my little hometown! Until those days, however, I will continue shining my light through my work as a student, volunteer, and semi-good barista ;)

A big fish in a small pond, making waves wherever she goes
And quite literally. If the sun is out and shining, there's a 90% chance I'm out at the lake. During those sunless days, however, I enjoy cuddling up in bed with my Yorkie while binge watching Grey's Anatomy. I am part of my school's varsity volleyball team in addition to a travel volleyball team during my off season.
I have always been terrified at the thought of traveling but feel that God has called me to go into the medical missionary field. I plan on going to Med school in hopes of becoming a Pediatrician. I have always had such a strong love for children. I want to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate and show Gods love through my salty and bright lifestyle ;)
